HISTORY

This inhouse Yamaha supported team is changing for 2018 after 12 years of being in the MX nationals paddock. Starting in 2007 as Yamaha’s Under 19 team, with none other than current MX1 Champ, Dean Ferris, as its lead rider, the Yamalube Yamaha Racing now moves into a true development role in keeping Yamaha riders on board and within the Yamaha Racing family.

Over the years, the team has had tremendous success claiming five MXD championships and one SXD title and fast tracked many of the riders now established in professional racing today. Riders like Luke Styke, Jay Wilson, Wilson Todd, Mitch Evans, Hunter Lawrence and 2017 MXD Champ, Cody Dyce have all been success stories of Yamalube Yamaha racing.

For 2018, the team will now move to the MX2 class and have Jay Wilson race alongside up and coming star, Richie Evans in a strong team on board the championship proven YZ250F.
