HISTORY

Stationary Engine Repair Company (Serco) started life as a small mower repair shop in the then back blocks on the east-side of Brisbane. It was 1974 and from its humble beginnings, Serco is now a national distributor of major motorcycle products as well as running Yamaha’s official MX2 team since 2002.

During that time, Serco have been heavily involved in drag racing, speedway before getting serious in motocross when the four-stroke movement swept through the sport in the late 1990’s, early 2000’s.

Now in its 17th year as the Yamaha MX2 team, Serco Yamaha have racked up a long list of championships and been the standout team in the MX2 category. A who’s who of Australian motocross have passed through the doors at Serco and the 2018 line up is impressive as ever as Wilson Todd and Nathan Crawford are behind the handlebars of the YZ250F and out to make for another successful year for Serco Yamaha.
