Owner Mark Luksich has been involved in Australian Motocross for over 30 years. Cutting his teeth with 12 time National Champ Glen Bell, Mark moved Glen over from the then national Yamaha team, Marlboro Yamaha to a private Honda Team in 1988, named MC Mart Honda. The team went on in the late 80’s and early 90’s to support riders Lee Hogan, Cameron Taylor, Dale Britton and Darryl Atkinson (NZ) to win over 12 national titles for the red bikes.

Mark continued to be involved in the sport after Bell retired as in a voluntary role for Motorcycling Australia on the National Motocross Commission for nearly 20 years and has been on the MXON committee during that time.

In 2015 Mark decided to go back to running race teams and stepped back in with Honda’s support to start CRF Honda Racing with the support of Ian Wightman from ProMoto Suspension

In the three years the team has developed and now plays the role as the official Honda National 250 team and is chasing the MX and SX Championships with riders Jackson Richardson and Kyle Webster.

Jackson Richardson has spent the last couple of seasons on-board the Serco Yamaha team and won the 2016 and 2017 Australian Supercross Championships. Traditionally a Honda rider, Jackson has moved back to red to work on backing up his Supercross Titles but more importantly to challenge he highly attested MX Nats MX2 Class.

Kyle Webster joined the CRF Honda Racing Team in 2016 and has shown he has the goods to be a top runner. Breaking his back at the 2017 Bacchus Marsh round of the Australian Supercross Championship, Kyle has shown his dedication and determination to be back in 2018 ready to be a front runner.

The team in 2018 is now named Penrite-Pirelli CRF Honda Racing and enjoys some exception support from over 20 team sponsors that are behind the effort to get the Red 250’s up front.
