Well it all began when I asked dad for my first motorbike, which I got for my birthday but I cried as I wanted a toy bike and dad got me the real thing which I was scared of at the age of 3. Dad wasn’t impressed.
It took me about 6 months until I actually rode it! Crashing through fences and hitting dogs. But that’s where the love started. I was playing footy for a year or so but hated it and one day seen a kid in the paper with his Ktm 50 and a heap of trophies and I told dad that’s what I wanted to do.
Once I got the Ktm 50 we began racing and I finished third in my first race meeting. And wasn’t long until I was winning state titles and then national titles. It was our life, traveling the country racing bikes and I wouldn’t change it for anything. It was the best way to grow up and spend time as a family!
Off the bike I enjoy mountain biking and cycling, anything outdoors and adventurous. I’ve just had a daughter and that’s definitely my greatest achievement to date so any down time I have now I spend hanging with her and my beautiful partner.
After the year I had last year breaking my neck and not racing for most of the year I’m really looking forward to getting back out there for the joy of riding my dirt bike. I’ve been training hard and putting in the work so will take it as it comes and give it my best.
