The MX Nationals circus rolls into Port Macquarie this weekend where things start to heat up for the DPH team. The MXD Championship wraps up this weekend, and it marks just 3 rounds remaining in the championships for Wilson Todd and Kade Mosig at a track where very few of the leading racers have ridden much, if at all.

An upbeat Kade Mosig had this to say: “I’m looking forward to getting to Port Macquarie this weekend. I haven’t ridden there, but I’m enjoying riding and racing right now, and every time I put more work in, the benefits show. I just need to carry my starts from Shepparton into this weekend and it’ll make my job that much easier on Sunday!” the MX1 contender stated.

MX2 championship leader, Wilson Todd: “I’m pretty frustrated to be honest. I know I have the speed, I wouldn’t still be in the lead if I didn’t, but I keep making mistakes that are holding me back. It means nothing to have the championship lead heading into round 7 if I don’t have it after round 10”.

Team Owner, Dale Hocking: “First up, I want to congratulate Deakin Hellier on taking out the 125 & 250 Victorian Titles last weekend, with 11 wins & a 2nd place from 12 starts, Deakin dominated on the 125! Also Maddy Brown raced WMX in Loket over the weekend too, where her 12-11 results gave her 10th overall, knocking on the door of her top 10 race result goal. Looking to Port Macquarie, both Wilson and Kade have some challenges ahead of them since both riders haven’t been to this track before, but we know they’re capable of not only maintaining, but improving their Championship position, regardless of the track, so I’m looking forward to the last 3 rounds”.

The DPH Motorsport race transporter will arrive in Port Macquarie on Saturday, ready for bikes on track from 8am Sunday. Head out to the track at 60 Cowarra Access Rd
