Carrying two red plates into round 3 of the Pirelli MX Nationals this weekend at Broadford, Regan Duffy, and Hayden Melross are ready to prove why they are the current championship leaders, with a long season still to unfold consistency is the teams focus.

Regan who is coming off his first round win at Wonthaggi has stayed focused and continued the same training regime prior to going into round 2.

“On the back of my round win at Wonthaggi I’ve kept my head down an training the same, hopefully I’ll be able to carry the red plate through to Murray Bridge after this weekend at Broadford. I had a chance to ride the new layout a month ago and I really enjoyed it, big hills and high speed suits me and my riding style”, said Duff.

Hayden Melross isn’t loosing sight of the big picture coming into this round with the red plate or letting the pressure get to him.

“We have had an awesome few weeks since Wonthaggi and I’ve been working hard on all the small things. Carrying the red plate into Broadford is really cool but we aren’t going to loose sight of the big picture. I’m  going to focus on great starts and consistent laps as there is still a lot of racing ahead of us”, said Melross.

Team manager Chris Woods explained how the team are totally focused and ready for this weekend.

“I’m confident with the boys focus and determination ahead of this weekend, and it’s a great feeling heading into a round holding two red plates. We will all have Jy and his family in our thoughts this weekend”, finished Woods.
