Empire Motorsports have had a consistent progression through out the Pirelli MX Nationals Championship,  Round 9 at Gladstone was no exception. Cody Dyce finished in a very comfortable 6thoverall for the day while Deakin Hellier managed to walk away with and 18thafter finding the Gladstone conditions challenging.

Cody Dyce excelled on Gladstone’s technical track

“I was happy with the day Sunday, the track was technical and difficult witch made for some really good racing. I managed to qualify 8thwitch set me up for a reasonable gate pick.  First moto I came 9thwith a tip over and a few silly mistakes, moto two was a lot  better and I came 7thwitch gave me 6thoverall for the  day, Gladstone was another step in the right direction and I’m super keen for Coolum this weekend”. Said Dyce

Deakin Hellier is taking away knowledge from Gladstone and the difficult track conditions.

“Gladstone was a real tough and technical track, I felt really good in qualifying, when it come to moto one I struggled really bad with arm pump, moto two my riding was a felt really solid it was just a shame it didn’t show in my results”. Finished Hellier
