HISTORY

Now in its 25th year of operation, CDR Yamaha is Australia’s longest running and most successful racing outfit in Australia. Headed by former four time Mr Motocross Champion, Craig Dack, CDR Yamaha sets the benchmark for race teams in Australia with its professionalism and their attention to detail.

With over almost 50 national championships to their credit and a long list of names that have become icons of the sport, CDR Yamaha enters its 25th year well placed with two determined and talented riders as well as the enthusiasm and desire to continue their racing success. In just the last nine years of MX Nationals, the CDR Yamaha team have won the premier MX1 division an astounding six times in the hands of Jay Marmont, Josh Coppins and now Dean Ferris.

Included in the CDR Yamaha ride list are such names as Chad Reed, Darryl King, Troy Carroll, Jay Marmont, Josh Coppins who have all racked up multiple championships whilst representing CDR Yamaha.

Armed with the potent YZ450F, CDR Yamaha will again embark on another championship tilt in 2017 with Dean Ferris carrying the number 1 plate and alongside him will be Dylan Long making his debut for the team at round one in Wonthaggi.
